The teak wood for Pim's outdoor kitchen furniture comes from meticulously managed plantations in Indonesia. These plantations are owned by Perum Perutani, the Indonesian Forestry Commission. Perum Perutani supervises the careful management of the cultivated forests, and the replanting of the felled trees. This approach results in reducing illegal felling in protected nature areas and ensures the future of the teak tree.
The production of Pim's outdoor kitchen furniture takes place in small workshops where local craftsmen manufacture quality furniture according to traditional methods. Since we value corporate responsibility, we contribute to the environment as well as to the local employment in Indonesia.
The stainless steel cooking units and barbecues are specifically designed for this furniture, but you can also use our mobile cooking units and freestanding BBQs. Our cooking units are equipped with several burners with which the temperature can be optimally adjusted. The gas bottle is placed out of sight in one of the cupboards. The burners are simply lighted by means of the electronic ignition button on the front side. You have the option to barbecue, grill, stir-fry and deep-fry. When you close the grill cap, the unit functions as an oven: using the thermometer you can simply keep an eye on the temperature. A refrigerator, a wine cooler and other equipment (optional) can also be built in. The kitchen furniture comes standard with composite worktops with or without sinks, but are also available in bluestone or granite.
